Windows are the eyes of your house. Wait…that’s not a phrase. Whatever. But just like heaps of eyeliner on a girl (or Pete Wentz), window treatments can add or detract from the beauty of your home. That’s why we are going to take a look at a few window treatment options over the course of a few posts!
This week let’s collectively fall in love with one of the easiest, most inexpensive ways to dress up those windows, or as I like to call it, the “clip-and-hang” style.
Now don’t rule out other types of window treatment hanging options just because this one is the easiest. It should be chosen intentionally, just like any other detail in a home. Here are a few reasons you might choose this option:
Below, you can see I used this method in our guest room using sheer cotton curtains from Ikea that I hadn’t used in years. I don’t like the look of curtains with tabs, so I cut those suckers off, clipped where they used to be, and hung them on a skinny rod.
